Our town's motto is the "Crossroads of Connecticut," which exemplifies a community that is welcoming to all people along their travels through Connecticut.  Visitors may shop in one of our many retail places, eat at one of our locally-owned restaurants, or enjoy a walk through our downtown or along the Connecticut River by Frisbee Park. Many families lived here for multiple generations and others have only recently established roots in Cromwell. No matter where you started, once you are in Cromwell, you quickly learn we are a family community.
